A Nite @ Valve

16 Dec 2004. We finally can agree to the date to pop by Valve to relax 4 a nite. But, alas, wat a disappointment. It was not open. It's already past 6pm and still the doors are locked. To give it a chance, we agree to hang around Starbucks 4 kopi and wait 4 e staff to arrive anytime.

Kopi at Starbucks was quite fun too. Silly enuff E2 drop by to join our chatting session. E joker indeed brought quite some laughter to us wif his so called "High I" character. Grace oso join us later. We were actually enjoying ourselves, joking n chatting.

Not long, we notice tat e lightings is on at Valve & decided to pop over once more. E2 decline e invitation to join us. Nonetheless, we gals go ahead ourselves.

Being e 1st customers, we hv e place all 2 ourselves. Shiok!! We accended to the 2nd level 4 more privacy. Having e whole place to ourselves, we gals start to let go of e so call 'lady social etiquette' n start relaxing.

Boring enuff, all of us ordered green tea. No alcoholic drinks 4 me as I am driving. E rest hv 1 reason or another not 2 drink. Though wifout e help of alcohol, we r still quite crazy. We kicked off by selecting some songs to entertain ourselves. We chose watever songs tat comes in mind, some we ain't even sure how to sing. Thus, we end up teasing & laughing when we sing e wrong tune.

After an hr or more, other guests started arriving. Probably becos we r too relax 2 feel pai seh, we continued our method of singing (ie., anyhow sing). I guess e other patrons must b cursing us cos some of e songs we actually presented quite awfully. Then again, we cares, most impt is, we had fun.

We loiter till ard 11pm, chatting when we dun get to sing. We were even debating at e pub on e topic of 'Love'. Gals r always alot more fun to talk to as we r more expressive when come to such 'sensitive' topic.

As we need to b at work e nex day, we leave Valve agreeing to visit it on a regular basis. In conclusion, it's a nice place to relax, enjoy n establish relationship wif my dear colleagues......
